The main focus will be in connection with the CE water framework directive All about Water. However during the Austrian Chemical Days, the whole field of chemistry will be presented. Chemists of Austria, Slovenia and the other neighbouring countries will have the possibility to meet. In particular, younger colleagues are invited to present their scientific results either as a lecture or as a poster. The 12. Österreichische Chemietage, in a scientific partnership between two neighbouring EU countries, will be a joint meeting of the Slovenian Chemical Society and the Austrian Chemical Society.Therefore for the first time the language of the conference will be English. So we invite all participants to send their abstracts in English. "If need be", abstracts and presentations will also be accepted in German.
